What you will be responsible for:

Do you love the logical side of accounting but hate manual, repetitive data entry? Do you believe that in 2026, a modern accountant should work closely with technology to eliminate paper and bureaucracy?

At Eternis, we are scaling our operations in Romania, aiming to support 1000+ drivers and a fleet of 200+ vehicles. We are not looking for a traditional corporate accountant. We need a hands-on, tech-savvy Accountant who will take full operational ownership of Romanian accounting and help us digitize it from the ground up.

Your Mission:

Your main goal is to run smooth, flawless daily accounting operations for Romania while working hand-in-hand with our IT team to automate high-volume processes (such as driver settlements and platform reconciliations).

What you will do (Key Tasks):

• Core Accounting & Compliance: Handle daily accounting operations, monthly/quarterly closings, and ensure full compliance with Romanian tax regulations (VAT, CIT, SAF-T, payroll taxes).

• Fleet Accounting: Manage the financial lifecycle of our fleet – including leasing agreements, depreciation, insurance settlements, and cost allocation.

• Drive Automation (STOP Bureaucracy): Act as the financial brain for our IT team. You will help design a dedicated internal module for automated PFA driver settlements, automated invoicing, and automatic reconciliation of platform payouts (Bolt, etc.).

• Reporting: Prepare monthly financial data (P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet) and support the Country Manager with operational calculations (e.g., cost per active driver, vehicle margins).

• External Cooperation: Coordinate cooperation with local tax auditors and external financial service providers.
  

Who we’re looking for

• Experience: 2–3 years of practical experience in Romanian accounting. Experience in high-volume industries (fleet, logistics, car rental, e-commerce, or gig-economy) is a huge advantage.

• Knowledge of tools: SAGA, OBLIO, FONOA and Excel. Our Panel system - we'll teach you that.

• Tech-Savvy Mindset: You don't need to code, but you must understand how data flows between systems. You are the type of person who naturally looks for ways to replace manual Excel work with automated workflows.

• Independence: You are comfortable being the primary operational point of contact for accounting in Romania, backed by Group finance structures.
