We are launching our operations in Romania with strong momentum and building a local team to set new standards for fleet management and driver support in CEE.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a hands-on, commercially-minded Fleet & Operations Specialist to join our team in Bucharest.

This is an ideal role for an ambitious professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, combines strong operational execution with business development skills, and wants to shape our Romanian footprint from day one.

Your role

As a Fleet & Operations Specialist, you will take ownership of our vehicle fleet in Romania - from expanding our vendor network and onboarding new cars, to daily administration and handovers.

1. Fleet Expansion & Vendor Relations

• Negotiating commercial terms and closing agreements with local partner service centers.

• Managing end-to-end integration of new vehicles, including registration, ARR licensing, and insurance activation.

• Building and maintaining strong business relationships with automotive partners, dealers, and transport authorities in Romania.

2. Field Operations & Driver Support

• Conducting vehicle handovers and returns, inspecting technical condition, and completing photo documentation.

• Briefing drivers during handovers, issuing required documents, and assisting with day-to-day fleet inquiries.

• Scheduling routine maintenance, tire changes, and repairs with contracted local garages.

• Assisting drivers during road incidents, reporting insurance claims, and arranging repairs or replacement cars.

3. Fleet Administration & Compliance

• Regularly updating vehicle profiles, documentation, and operational statuses in the Eternis App, fleet database, and Google Drive.

• Tracking MTPL/CASCO insurance policy renewals, cost tracking, and policy cancellations.

• Managing transport certificates, taxi licenses, and lease agreements in close alignment with Finance and the HQ Fleet team in Poland.

This role is for you if:

• You have 3-4 years of experience in fleet management, car rental, automotive sales, logistics, or business development/account management in mobility/logistics.

• You have commercial acumen: You know how to negotiate contracts, evaluate vendor costs, and sign agreements that bring real value to the business.

• You hold a valid Category B driver’s license (mandatory) and have a hands-on, proactive attitude towards working with vehicles and people.

• You are detail-oriented and organized: You keep close track of deadlines (insurance, maintenance, leases, licensing) and maintain orderly records.

• You are fluent in Romanian and have a good command of English (min. B2) for daily communication with our international team and Polish HQ.
